KAKAMEGA FINEST BOYZ AND DR. EDDIE TEAM UP TO RELEASE LOVE MACHETE

Welcome to the latest musical out fit in town that goes by the name Kakamega Finest boyz.

Welcome to the latest musical out fit in town that goes by the name Kakamega Finest boyz. The duo composed of two artists namely Elee Elee musicc and Josizo are arguably kakamega’s finest new age cronies as the name suggests. They have teamed up with the Dreamland Music Entertainment CEO Dr Eddie to give us a fine piece of music called LOVE MACHETE that features Ado.
The song LOVE MACHETE produced and Directed by DR. EDDIE talks about how love’s cut is the deepest and how love is blind and doesn’t discriminate. It’s backed up by a bouncy afro fusion beat that will make you to dance all day as witnessed by the crowds that turned up for the performance launch of the song at Tribeka Lounge and Klubhouse K1 powered by Mseto EA last week.
“When I stepped into Dr. Eddie’s studio at his mansion, he started making the beat and to be sincere after he was finished, it sounded so so  unbelievable…something I had never heard of….” Noted Elee Elee musicc.
To Elee Elee musicc, this comes as a follow up track to the debut song SAFARI which was produced by Ihaji who is mostly famous for co-producing Barua and Visa by Bahati alongside the legendary R. kay. Recently he released Fine Daughter and recorded a collabo with the sassy female rapper Noti flow  both produced by Motif-on-the-Beat, a high flying new producer credited to the latest banger by Khaligraph Jones and Creme Dela Crème.
Ladies and gentlemen, here is  the video to LoveMachete:

Same-Sex Marriage Legalized In USA.

Same-Sex Marriage Is a Right.

In a much-anticipated decision, the Supreme Court ruled Friday that same-sex couples have a constitutional right to marry nationwide without regard to their state’s laws.
Justice Anthony M. Kennedy wrote the majority opinion in the 5 to 4 decision. He was joined by the court’s four more liberal justices.
The decision, the culmination of decades of litigation and activism, came against the backdrop of fast-moving changes in public opinion, with polls indicating that most Americans now approve of same-sex marriage.
Justice Kennedy said gay and lesbian couples had a fundamental right to marry.
“No union is more profound than marriage, for it embodies the highest ideals of love, fidelity, devotion, sacrifice, and family,” he wrote. “In forming a marital union, two people become something greater than once they were.”
“It would misunderstand these men and women to say they disrespect the idea of marriage,” Justice Kennedy said of the couples challenging state bans on same-sex marriage. “Their plea is that they do respect it, respect it so deeply that they seek to find its fulfillment for themselves. Their hope is not to be condemned to live in loneliness, excluded from one of civilization’s oldest institutions. They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right.”
Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr., in a dissent joined by Justice Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas, said the Constitution had nothing to say on the subject.
“If you are among the many Americans — of whatever sexual orientation — who favor expanding same-sex marriage, by all means celebrate today’s decision,” Chief Justice Roberts wrote. “Celebrate the achievement of a desired goal. Celebrate the opportunity for a new expression of commitment to a partner. Celebrate the availability of new benefits. But do not celebrate the Constitution. It had nothing to do with it.”
In a second dissent, Justice Scalia mocked Justice Kennedy’s soaring language.
“The opinion is couched in a style that is as pretentious as its content is egotistic,” Justice Scalia wrote of his colleague’s work. “Of course the opinion’s showy profundities are often profoundly incoherent.”
As Justice Kennedy finished announcing his opinion, several attendees seated in the bar section of the court’s gallery wiped away tears, while others grinned and exchanged embraces.
Justice John Paul Stevens, who retired in 2010, was on hand for the decision and many of the justices’ clerks took seats in the chamber, which was nearly full as the ruling was announced.
As in earlier civil rights cases, the Supreme Court had moved cautiously and methodically, laying careful judicial groundwork for a transformative decision.
As late as October, the justices ducked the issue, refusing to hear appeals from rulings allowing same-sex marriage in five states. That decision delivered a tacit victory for gay rights, immediately expanding the number of states with same-sex marriage to 24, along with the District of Columbia, up from 19.
Largely as a consequence of the Supreme Court’s decision not to act, the number of states allowing same-sex marriage has since grown to 36, and more than 70 percent of Americans live in places where gay couples can marry.
The court did not agree to resolve the issue for the rest of the nation until January, in cases filed by gay and lesbian couples in Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee. The court heard extended arguments in April, and the justices seemed sharply divided over what the Constitution has to say about same-sex marriage.
Lawyers for the plaintiffs said their clients had a fundamental right to marry and to equal protection, adding that the bans they challenged demeaned their dignity, imposed countless practical difficulties and inflicted particular harm on their children.
The Obama administration, which had gradually come to embrace the cause of same-sex marriage, was unequivocal in urging the justices to rule for the plaintiffs.
“Gay and lesbian people are equal,” Solicitor General Donald B. Verrilli Jr. said. “They deserve equal protection of the laws, and they deserve it now.”
Lawyers for the four states said their bans were justified by tradition and the distinctive characteristics of opposite-sex unions. They said the question should be resolved democratically, at the polls and in state legislatures, rather than by judges.
The Supreme Court had once before agreed to hear a case arising from a constitutional challenge to a same-sex marriage ban, California’s Proposition 8, in 2012 in Hollingsworth v. Perry. At the time, nine states and the District of Columbia allowed same-sex couples to marry.
But when the court’s ruling arrived in June 2013, the justices ducked, with a majority saying the case was not properly before them, and none of them expressing a view on the ultimate question of whether the Constitution requires states to allow same-sex marriage.
A second decision the same day, in United States v. Windsor, provided the movement for same-sex marriage with what turned out to be a powerful tailwind. The decision struck down the part of the Defense of Marriage Act that barred federal benefits for same-sex couples married in states that allowed such unions.
The Windsor decision was based partly on federalism grounds, with Justice Kennedy’s majority opinion stressing that state decisions on how to treat marriages deserved respect. But lower courts focused on other parts of his opinion, ones that emphasized the dignity of gay relationships and the harm that families of gay couples suffered from bans on same-sex marriage.
In a remarkable and largely unbroken line of more than 40 decisions, state and federal courts relied on the Windsor decision to rule in favor of same-sex marriage.

#RevivingKenyanMusic : Jose Chameleon Records in Kenya.

Jose chameleon Records in Kenya.

This past week, Chameleon was in Kenya for the Coke studio recording sessions. However, it looks like the creative bug bit him in his hotel room and therefore he couldn’t go back to Uganda without recording the song.

Docta Eddie (Edward Omondi) of Dreamland music was the man he chose for the job. Known to produce hits, sources close to Chameleone intimated to us that he has admired the experienced and talented producer for a while now.

To overcome the logistical challenges of recording the music in Kiambu where dreamland empire is located, the studio had to be temporarily set in Chameleone’s hotel room at Southern Mayfair.
I must confess that I’m a lucky man. I got a chance to witness history in the making. One of the best musicians in Africa meeting one of the best producers in Africa was too epic. The recording began before 1 PM on Sunday, 31st May 2015 and the session continued all the way till midnight.
Chameleon couldn’t get enough from the beat doctor as evidenced by the number of tunes churned out that day. So the first track was made and they recorded. The process continued until Chameleon did three songs. A number of us who have tried our hands in music would appreciate the challenge of churning out 3 songs in one session.
There is always something divine when a talented producer does a serious beat. It’s something so brilliant and magical that cannot be explained by words.
The East African music industry must be prepared to receive what was baked at Southern Mayfair. What I can promise is that it’s going to be massive. It will definitely change the landscape of music as we know it in this region.
Docta Eddie is famed to have produced a song that won MTV’s MAMA awards (Tobina by Daddy Owen). That’s one of the biggest awards in Africa. In addition to that, he revolutionized the Kenyan music industry by being the first producer to successfully fuse Lingala and Kapuka to produce a rare genre of music called Kapungala.
He has won multiple awards as the best producer of the year.
Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, here is the exclusive behind the scene image and video of the recording session:

Is The Former "Gospel Producer" Docta Eddie Working On A Solo Response Track To Christians Criticizing Him?

The "Musical Doctor" Has Something In the Pipeline For You Critics!

The award winning superstar music producer/video director was dubbed a Gospel music producer but in a short span of time that he has been in the game,he has managed to perfect his skills and produce great music with top notch videos such that his art has started getting demand from secular artists who have been eyeing him from afar.

After doing a couple of secular projects that have blown away the entertainment industry, Docta Eddie got different and varying reactions from his followers some of whom fell in love with his new taste of art while a others "Staunch Christians" have termed his move hypocritical, immoral and contrary to Christian ethics and ways of life!

Some of his recent works have been #TeamMafisi by the dancehall guru Ashur Damsela, & Imaginary Love by Otile Brown ft Khaligraph Jones.

Some Christians have raised their views as sampled below

Gladys Mburu Wow!!! What happened to distinction between believers and nonbelievers? Ain’t we supposed to be the light that bring people from the darkness?? Isn’t this for winning soul?? Did we lose focus?? This is so hypocritical of you!! Why don’t you just do the secular until you ready to Spread the Gospel

Scepta Tizzle's Instagram post read: "No more hits out here coz u ain't anywhere doing what you called to do.... Secular haiwezi win this one seriously... Not now, not ever... Kama kuna mtu hapo nje anajua maombi, nimeomba maombi special @doctaeddie arudishwe uku kwetu... Mungu amurudishe.... Hii imeniuma sana.... Tumekosa nini Eddie, tuambie tutarekebisha ila usitoke hivo, kazi yako nzuri sana kwetu Wakristo..."

Few week after the release of the two secular projects, Docta Eddie has highlighted a Post on his facebook page indicating that he is currently working on a solo music project. For the fact that he is a producer and a video director, I decided to give him a call so as to get detailed info but he couldn't give away much of the content concerning his music project, but his uneasy tone and the facebook Post clearly said it's a "response song" to the critics!
So be on the lookout, for he is coming forth with a monster club banger and I'm always here to update you!
